1. Who we are

2. What data we collect

Inquiry form: first and last name, country, e-mail address, travel dates, number of adults and the age of each child, and your message if you write one. Contact form: name, e-mail address, subject and message. Our hosting provider also records technical data (IP address, time of access) in server logs for security reasons.

3. Why we use it

Only to answer your inquiry or message and to prepare a possible reservation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – steps at your request before entering into a contract), on the basis of your consent given in the form (Art. 6(1)(a)), and to protect the website against misuse (Art. 6(1)(f), legitimate interest). We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

4. How long we keep it

Inquiries that do not lead to a reservation are deleted within 12 months. If you book, we keep the data required by Croatian law (guest registration, accounting) for the legally prescribed period.

5. Who receives it

Only our service providers, who process the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement: Bluehost (website hosting and e-mail) and Google (Gmail, used for backup copies of reservations). Their servers may be located in the USA; such transfers are protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

6. Cookies and local storage

The website does not use cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising. Your browser only stores your language choice and the fact that you closed the privacy notice (local storage). Fonts are hosted on our own server. Links to Google Maps or Booking.com take you to websites with their own privacy policies.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and you may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@sunapartments.eu. You can lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), www.azop.hr.
